Hi Reader, Most people who reach out to me think they have a writing problem. Their website doesn't sound like them anymore. Their LinkedIn profile feels dated. They keep rewriting the same paragraph, convinced the next version will finally be the one that clicks. Sometimes they're right. More often, the website is the symptom. It's revealing that the business has changed, and the language hasn't caught up yet. That's why I almost never start by talking about copy. I'm much more interested in what's changed. What conversations are you having today that you weren't having three years ago? What do clients thank you for that your website barely mentions? What do people consistently misunderstand about what you do? The answers to those questions almost always tell me more than the words on the page. I've learned that people like to work through those questions in different ways. If you're someone who likes to sit with a good question and figure things out on your own, I created the Voice Clarity Workbook for exactly that. It's a self-guided way to uncover what's changed and where your message may have fallen out of step with your business. If you're the kind of person who likes to gather a little more information before deciding what's next, I've put together an overview of my Make It Easy to Refer You process, including how the Voice Clarity Intensive fits into it. And if you're reading this thinking, I'd rather just talk it through with another human, hit reply or book a Clarity Call. We'll spend a few minutes figuring out whether a Voice Clarity Intensive is the right next step. However you choose to begin, begin with clarity. Everything else gets easier after that. Best, |

Hi Reader, This is the final email I'll send about the Judi 411 Summer Copy Consult Package. Tomorrow is July 31, and I'll be closing the offer. Over the past few weeks, I've had a number of conversations with people about the writing projects they've been carrying around longer than they'd like. Most of these projects aren't stuck because they lack importance. They're stuck because client work takes priority, deadlines shift, and new opportunities demand attention. Before you know it,...
Hi Reader, We’ve covered your summer listening. We’ve covered your quick-hit reading. Which brings me to a very specific category: Beachside or poolside reading. The kind of book you toss in your bag, pull out with sandy hands, and read while half-listening for “Mom?” or “Can you watch this?” from somewhere in the distance. — If you’re looking for something that fits that exact moment, I have a suggestion. (And yes, I wrote it. Stay with me.) Fuckery: The Life and Times of A Legend (In Her...
Hi Reader, A quick update on the Judi 411 Summer Copy Consult Package. One of the reasons I decided to bring this offer back is because it has always been popular. Every time I've offered it, the spots have filled before the deadline. I think that's because it solves a very specific problem. Most business owners don't wake up needing a complete website rewrite. They wake up with a collection of writing projects that have been sitting on the back burner for far too long. The package was...
